LIBERIAN IMMIGRATION NATIONAL ADVOCACY COMMISSIONWelcome to the Liberian Immigration National Advocacy Commission's web site. This site presents information on the activities of the Commission, and how you can help. We hope you will join us in this cause. The Commission is an all volunteer organization, with the singular objective of advocating for the passage of the "Liberian Refugee Immigration Fairness Act of 2001" by the United States Congress during the 107th Congress, 1st Session (2001), and for its subsequent signing by President Bush. This law will bring immigration relief to thousand of Liberians who have sought refuge and protection in the United States, many for more than ten years. The House and Senate bills are co-sponsored by both Republicans and Democrats. |
